Keith Dix Cancer Fund Raiser at the Monroeville Convention Center

The Streetlights were honored by being asked to open the show that was held for Keith Dix at the Monroeville Convention Center on Sunday, January 16th, 2011. The festivities began with William Dell and Wee Jams performing an acapella rendition of The Star Spangled Banner, then The Streetlights took the stage and performed two songs. Jerry Szabo, our newest member, sang lead on "Gee" and Josh List sang lead on Diamonds and Pearls. The list of performers who offered their time and talent reads like a Who's Who of the entertainment industry in Pittsburgh!

The Streetlights Open Two Shows For The Holidays!

The Streetlights were invited to open two shows for Sam Ferrella and The Holidays on Saturday, December 4th at the Lamplighter Restaurant located in Delmont, PA. Special thanks to Sam and all the vocalists and band members of The Holidays.

Philly Doo Wop Festival on September 11th, 2010

The Streetlights received a warm reception at the Philly Doo Wop Festival on September 11th, 2010. We opened our portion of the concert with our rendition of Sixty Minute Man, followed by Sincerely, Diamonds and Pearls, Daddy's Home and our encore song was In The Still Of The Night. Many thanks to Bill Diamond of the Philadelphia Veterans Multi-Service & Education Center for having us participate. Special thanks to King Arthur, Queen Janet, Cannonball Jimmy Parsons and Lou Costello of The Sounds of Philly Radio.

Do you enjoy car cruises?

The Streetlights will be appearing at a car cruise on Sunday, September 19th, at the Great Valley Shopping Center in North Versailles, PA. 6:00 PM. Be there or be square!

Busy weekend on June 5th and 6th

The Streetlights had a busy weekend on June 5th and 6th. We traveled to Avonmore, PA on June 5th and participated at the Polka Jam that was held at Guys Tavern. Thanks to Ray Machulsky for the invitation. Then on Sunday we traveled to the Windgap section of Pittsburgh and performed at Remember When. No one in the city of Pittsburgh offers better ice cream than Remember When. Special thanks to Mary Gettel, the owner of Remember When, Dr. Doo Wop and Doo Wop Dan. A number of our friends were there to offer their support: Dan Fera of William Dell and the Wee Jams; Fred Bohn of Attic Records in Millvale; DJ Suzie Q from 770 AM WKFB; members of the El Reys: Paul Durham, Stush Bogden, Tim Steele, J.D.
